The Cove’s Publication is Finally Here!
THE BEGINNING IS always the best place to begin, don’t you think? In that spirit, allow me—The Curious Mr. Blend™, resident storyteller for the Village of Pumpkinlight™ Cove—to introduce you to the primary source for news, announcements, and warnings cautionary tales related to the Cove: The Pumpkinlight Periodical.
From tragic-yet-humorous stories—such as the incident of the poor bloke who dropped his newly purchased urn (full, by the way!) on his way out of the Grim & Ghastly Coffee Shoppe & Mortuary™—to tales that bring out the child in all of us—for instance, the growing excitement that saturates the month before our annual Pumpkinlight Cove October Nightfright™—The Pumpkinlight Periodical will cover it all in macabre marvelous detail (with only one exception).
Unfortunately ...
There are countless unnerving goings-on that take place from time to time in the Cove as well. All of which continue to occur despite the work of our diligent mayor, The Honorable Thaddeus Hardwick.
Simply reading about those occurrences will make you feel either comfortably-invited-whilst-still-looking-over-your-shoulder (even as you sit in your home or coffee shoppe or wherever you choose to read) or unwaveringly-unwelcome-without-a-doubt-in-mind. In other words: you’ve been warned.
. . .
The Pumpkinlight Periodical is sure to be an intriguing-yet-spooky read, if that is the sort of thing you enjoy reading. But suffice it to say, there will never be a dull moment for your imagination. Until next time, dear reader ...

Note: The more involved tales I reserve for my books (soon available in hard cover and e-format, and eventually in audio format; available in the Cove’s Gift Shoppe). But the smaller accounts, even the incomplete ones, are carefully placed within this publication, for all to see.
