Storytelling at the Autumn Tree

Pumpkinlight Cove’s resident storytelling—The Curious Mr. Blend™—can read to K-7 families in order to bring the excitement of spooky storytelling to life.
The experience includes a six-foot, artificial autumn tree adorned with white lights & accompanied by books, burlap, & lanterns beneath.
In addition, a member of the audience (for each story) is selected to be “The Lantern Keeper.” Prior to the telling of a story, they walk to the tree, pick up a lit lantern (battery-powered, of course) and use it as a source of light to retrieve the book to be read.
They can, of course, keep the lantern in front of them throughout the reading!

NOTE: Scheduling is subject to availability. All requests must be submitted at least three weeks prior the requested time of the event.
... A Few Things to Know ...
Each storytelling event at the autumn tree will be 30 minutes in length, which includes two stories. Round-trip travel expense will be added to the cost of the event, at $0.50/mile (limit: 45 miles, one way). A retainer fee of $150 must be paid the day of contract signing; the remainder is due within one hour prior to the time of the event (no checks, please), or else the event will be cancelled.
